Plans, trial and limits
What the free trial includes, how the one plan and its add-ons work, and which limits apply.
Polytender has one plan, called Starter, plus add-ons for more seats and more search profiles. There is no feature ladder: every organization gets the whole product, and you only pay for how many people and how many profiles you need.
The free trial
Every new organization starts with a 7-day free trial of the full product. No credit card is needed, and the trial ends on its own; nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
During the trial you have everything: all sources and countries, search profiles with AI matching, daily email alerts, favorites and notes, the AI connector and API keys.
When the trial ends, your search profiles, matches, favorites and notes are kept, but the organization becomes read-only: no new matches, the daily alerts pause, and the connector only answers questions about your plan. Choose a plan under Billing to pick up where you left off. Nothing is deleted.
What the plan includes
| Starter | |
|---|---|
| Seats | 1 included, more as add-ons |
| Search profiles | 3 included, more as add-ons |
| Sources, countries, deduplication | all |
| Daily email alerts | yes |
| Translations and documents | yes |
| AI connector and API keys | yes |
| Billing interval | monthly, quarterly or yearly; longer intervals cost less per month |
An additional seat or an additional search profile is a per-unit add-on with its own price per interval. You can add them at checkout, later from the billing page, or right at the moment you hit a limit.
For larger teams, custom limits, invoice payment or a data processing agreement there is an Enterprise option: talk to sales via the pricing page, which is always authoritative for prices.
Which limits apply
- Seats: members of your organization, including invitations that have not been accepted yet. A pending invitation holds a seat for 7 days, then expires and frees it.
- Search profiles: active, non-archived profiles per organization. Archiving one frees a slot.
- Matching runs: a manual refresh is limited to once per profile per day, plus a daily budget per organization, see Refreshing and limits.
- Tracked tenders: up to 100 per person, across all organizations, see Tracking tenders.
- Connector usage: fair-use rate limits, see Safety, confirmations and fair use.
When you hit a limit
You get a dialog naming the limit and offering the fix: add a seat or a search profile, with the unit price and the prorated amount due today. On a paid plan the owner can confirm right there and the action you were doing (the invitation, the new profile) is retried automatically. On the trial the dialog takes you to checkout with the right quantities pre-filled.
Two things are free: cancelling a pending invitation frees its seat, and archiving a profile frees its slot.
Nothing is silently dropped, and only the organization owner can buy; other roles see who to ask. See Roles and permissions for the roles.
