Create your account
Sign up with email and password or a magic link, verify your address, and join or create an organization.
Polytender needs an account: your search profiles, favorites and email alerts all belong to you, and the AI connector is tied to your account too.
Signing up
Go to the sign-up page and enter your name, email and a password. We send a verification email; open the link in it and you land in onboarding.
Prefer no password? The sign-in page has a magic link tab. Enter your email and we send you a one-time link that signs you in. You can keep using magic links forever or set a password later under your profile.
Every new organization starts with a free 7-day trial, no card required, see Plans, trial and limits.
Joining an existing organization
If a colleague invited you, the invitation email contains a link. Open it, sign in or sign up with the invited address, and you join their organization directly. There is no onboarding for you: the organization already has search profiles, and you see them immediately.
An invitation link is valid for 7 days. If it expired, ask the person who invited you to invite your address again from the Organization page; an expired invitation no longer blocks that, and you get a fresh link with a new 7-day window. If you already had a Polytender account, there is nothing to accept: you are added right away and get an email telling you so.
Note that favorites, notes and email alerts stay personal even inside a shared organization. Only the search profiles are shared. See What is an organization.
Verification and sign-in problems
- No verification email. Check spam, then request a new one from the sign-in page. Corporate filters sometimes hold mail from new senders.
- The link says it expired. Verification and magic links are single-use and short-lived. Request a new one; the newest link is the valid one.
- Password forgotten. Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in page. The reset link works the same way.
What happens next
Onboarding asks for your company name and website and then builds your first search profile. That is the next page: Create your first search profile.
