Profile, password and your data

Change your name, email, language and password, and how to export or delete your data.

Your profile

Under Profile you can change your name and the email address we write to. Changing the email requires confirming the new address, so a typo cannot lock you out.

Language

The app and the daily email follow the language you choose in the interface. Tender titles and descriptions are translated into that language where needed, see Translations.

Password

Set, change or remove a password under Profile. If you signed up with a magic link you may have no password at all, which is fine: magic links keep working.

If you forgot your password, use "Forgot password" on the sign-in page.

Where your data lives

Polytender is operated in Europe and built to be GDPR compliant. Tender data itself is public information from official portals. What is personal is your account: your name, email, favorites, notes and the profiles your organization created.

Export and deletion

Write to us and we will export or delete your personal data. Deleting your account removes your personal data; notices and award data, being public information from the source portals, are not affected.

A caveat worth knowing: search profiles belong to the organization, not to you personally. If you leave or delete your account, the profiles stay with the organization and the remaining members keep using them. Your favorites and notes are personal and go with you.

See the privacy policy for the formal details, and Contact and support for how to reach us.
