Connect Microsoft Copilot
Add Polytender to Copilot Studio, publish it to Microsoft 365 Copilot, or use it from GitHub Copilot.
Custom tools reach Microsoft 365 Copilot through Copilot Studio. A maker or admin does this once for the whole team.
Open Copilot Studio
Sign in with your Microsoft work account. You need a Copilot Studio license or trial.
Create or open an agent
In the left menu choose Agents, then open an existing agent or create a new one, for example a "Polytender" tender-search agent.
Add the MCP tool
On the agent's Tools page click Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol. Enter:
- Name: Polytender
- URL:
https://api.polytender.com/mcp - Description: when the agent should use it, for example "Searches public tender notices and matches them against the company profile."
Choose OAuth 2.0 with dynamic discovery
As authentication select OAuth 2.0 and the Dynamic discovery type. Polytender supports discovery and dynamic registration, so there is nothing else to fill in. Click Create.
Sign in and authorize
Create a new connection when prompted, sign in with your Polytender account, pick the organization and click Authorize. Then add the tool to your agent.
Publish to your team
Publish the agent so your colleagues can use it in Microsoft 365 Copilot. Each user signs in with their own Polytender account on first use.
GitHub Copilot
GitHub Copilot consumes MCP servers through its own configuration. Use the endpoint and an API key exactly as in other MCP clients:
{"mcpServers":{"polytender":{"type":"http","url":"https://api.polytender.com/mcp","tools":["*"],"headers":{"Authorization":"Bearer pt_your_key"}}}}Notes
- Copilot Studio consumes tools only. Prompts and sampling are not used.
- Each user authorizes individually, so nobody sees another organization's data through the shared agent.
