Construction work (CPV division 45) covers new builds and refurbishment of schools, offices, hospitals and housing, road, sewer and bridge works, and every fit-out trade - from shell construction, roofing and facades through electrical, heating, ventilation and plumbing to screed, drywall and painting. Splitting contracts into trade and partial lots is a legal requirement in DACH, so small and mid-sized firms can bid.
Construction procurement is strongly regional: buyers are usually municipalities, state construction agencies, universities and public housing companies. Below the EU thresholds national rules apply (VOB/A in Germany, BVergG in Austria); above them, notices go EU-wide via TED. We collect both levels continuously, so relevant contracts do not disappear into individual regional portals.
