MetroGo, to upgrade the Metro's signalling system. This new system will improve journey times, reliability and safety, and pave the way for the future expansion of the Metro network.
Whilst the project remains subject to final funding decisions, the MetroGo Strategic Outline Business Case was appro
ved by the Government in July 2025 and the outline business case is expected to be submitted in late 2026.
