The SSP is a new programme following on from the Sudan Stability and Growth Programme (SSGP), which aims to continue and deepen the UK’s conflict resolution and mitigation work previously delivered. With no permanent UK presence in Sudan and a rapidly evolving conflict environmen
t, the SSP will support local civil society, strengthen civilian protection, and reinforce national and regional diplomatic efforts. Building the conditions for a national-level dialogue with engagement from civil actors.
