Roof steel shieldings blocks for Super FRS

While the sidewalls are already being installed a steel roof over the about 30m long beam line section will be mounted after installation of the beamline itself.

The FAIR particle accelerator facility is under construction in Darmstadt, Germany. It will use intense energetic heavy ion beams. It therefore requires a thick steel and concrete shielding of its Super-FRS target area.
