The service will provide a clinically safe, responsive and person-centred wheelchair service for eligible adults and children, supporting independence, mobility, posture and participation in daily life. The service is expected to include assessment,
clinical review, prescription, provision, delivery, fitting, adjustment, repair, maintenance, collection and replacement of wheelchairs and associated equipment, together with onward referral or signposting where appropriate.
