The Authority has appointed a Supplier to design and build fire appliances covering three distinct variants:
•Variant A Heavy
•Variant A Light
•Variant B
•Variant C
Variant A Heavy and Variant A Light will be constructed…
to an identical base specification but will carry different equipment sets appropriate to their operational role. Full specification for each variant can be found within the tender documents.
The contract will be established for 5 years with a possible 2 year extension, subject to satisfactory perf
ormance and mutual agreement.
Over the full contract period, the Authority anticipate purchasing up to 50 appliances. However, an initial commitment will be made for the supply of 35 appliances. The remaining appliances will be subject to f
