rocessed and paid in a faster, more efficient manner. The system currently used to process and pay BSOG claims was released in 2023. This was a  functional  replica of the previous system, built in 2012, which frequently experienced periods of downtime and built on a version of Microsoft Access that

was out of support. As this system was built as a direct replica of the previous system, no major new features or improvements were made. There is now an opportunity to redevelop the system, to do far more in a more efficient way
