Other activities include standardization and certification, training, demonstrations, dissemination, and creating an advisory group. The goal is to ensure a correct operation and overcome challenges for the remote activation/deactivation of beacons using the Galileo return link message.

The pilot project aims to prepare the market for the adoption of the Galileo Beacon Command service by performing activities such as consolidating user requirements, analyzing technical barriers, and prototyping beacons.
