It comprises Rana municipality and associated businesses in accordance with the rules in the Municipal Act (law no. 83 in 2018) and other applicable regulations, including guidelines and standards for the audit work. It is the municipal council that elects

the auditor after the recommendation from the control committee. On behalf of Rana municipality's municipal council, the Control Committee is the contracting authority for this procurement.
