s. An existing BoP (SCHOTT-BoP) using liquid salt as heat transfer fluid in Évora (Portugal) is to be expanded and solar preheating is to be demonstrated with the adapted plant. The existing BoP includes a salt tank, but its volume is not sufficient for the activities in SPOT. It is therefore neces

sary to adapt the tank to the technical project requirements. The loop is part of the Évora Molten Salt Platform (EMSP), a research platform which is jointly operated by DLR and the University of Évora. A feasibility study has already been
