Gender and sexuality diversity in Sámi communities in Norway - a historical perspective

practised in Sámi societies, as well as what words, concepts and methods of speech have been historically used to talk about the subject matter. The assignment is limited to the three Sami languages on the Norwegian side of Sápmi.

The aim of the assignment is to develop knowledge on how Sami societies have historically dealt with the diversity of gender and sexuality. This must be seen in the context of how gender and sexuality diversity has been
