Notice of Intent to Sole Source CTIP-III Stainless Steel Upgrade

Fixed Price (FFP) contract on behalf of the Office of Engraving. The contract will precure upgraded stainless-steel plates compatible with the Office of Engraving�s CTIP-III intaglio laser engraving machine at the Eastern Currency Facility (ECF). The plates are proprietary and can only be acquired

from Koenig & Bauer (K&B) Banknote Solutions. Therefore, the Government intends to award a sole source contract to K&B in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes
